Ms. Rimjhim Pandey was born and brought up in northern India in state of Himachal Pradesh. She has done her Post PG Diploma in Natural Resource Management from Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal. She started her work career in Seva Mandir in 2008. Seva Mandir is a 50 year old non profit organization working with the rural and deprived communities of South Rajasthan and works towards addressing the problems of resource management, livelihoods improvement, and village-level governance.

Ms. Rimjhim has been working in development sector for last 14 years with tribal communities. So far she has worked towards planning and implementation of various projects that support rural livelihoods like soil and water conservation and pastureland development. Since last five years she has been heading Community Institutions Program of the organization which works for capacity building of village communities and strengthens local governance.
