Tom Howes is the head of the Energy and Environment Division at the International Energy Agency (IEA). In the past, he has worked on a range of energy, carbon pricing, finance and climate policies for the Australian and UK governments, and the European Commission. His current work involves leading the division analysing carbon pricing and energy and climate policies, promoting best practice with IEA countries and associate countries, and liaising with COP and UN parties.
