Tim Gill is Australia’s Deputy High Commissioner and head of development in the atoll nation of Kiribati in the equatorial Pacific Ocean.  He’s worked for 15 years on the Australian government’s aid program, including as Sector Specialist for Agriculture and Food Security, Director of Infrastructure, Director of the Climate Integration Unit and First Secretary in Suva, Fiji.  Tim started out in Australia as a medical researcher in molecular biology, followed by a decade working on human rights across Asia.  He holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours from Australian National University and a Masters in Human Rights Law from Université Catholique de Louvain-la-neuve, as well as Graduate Certificates in Humanitarian Leadership and in Sustainable Agriculture.
