Mr. Singh comes with an experience of working in the telecom sector in more than 50 countries.

Prior to joining The World Bank, he worked as Secretary, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) and Head, Mobile Network Division, TRAI for seven years. He has also worked with the Indian Railways for about 20 years in different capacities including Director (Telecom). His areas of interest include 5G, spectrum management and Digital Economy. Mr. Singh completed his M.B.A from FMS, University of Delhi, India; and his M.S and B.S in Electronics and Communication Engineering from I.I.T Delhi, India and I.I.T Roorkee, India respectively.
