Mr. Iván Cerda is a Geographer, MSc. in Governance of Risk and Resources, University of Heidelberg Germany. Master in Geography and Geomatics, Pontificia Universidad Católica of Chile. Specialist in Risk Management, Climate Change and Sustainable Development. He has more than 8 years of experience in technical positions, research and project coordination in national and international organizations and the private sector. He has worked in institutions such as the Ministry of Environment of Chile, the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusamme- narbeit (GIZ). It is in this institution since 2018 he has been a consultant for the Global Initiative for Disaster Risk Management (GIDRM), where he has developed projects in the Latin American region linked to Disaster Risk Management and Public Investment.  He is currently an officer of ICAP International Mission and is the technical coordinator of the INCENTIVA project.
