Dr Uwe Remme is Head of the Hydrogen and Alternative Fuels Unit at the International Energy Agency (IEA) and leads the energy supply analysis and modelling within the Energy Technology Perspectives project. Before his current assignment, he was energy modeller at the IEA and contributed as lead author to various IEA publications. Prior to joining the IEA, he worked as researcher at the University Stuttgart. Uwe Remme studied chemical engineering at RWTH Aachen University, Germany, and Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, and completed a PhD degree in mechanical engineering at the University Stuttgart.
