Dr Al-Hamndou Dorsouma
Acting Director of the Climate Change and Green Department, African Development Bank.
Dr. Al-Hamndou Dorsouma is Acting Director of the Climate Change and Green Department (PECG) and Manager, Climate and Green Growth (PECG2) within the African Development Bank. He is responsible for leading and managing the Bank’s team of Climate Change/Green Growth Specialists and Climate Finance Officers in the Headquarters and Regional Hubs. Dr. Dorsouma also worked for two other international organizations, namely the Observatory of Sahara and Sahel (OSS) in Tunis from 2005 to 2009 as Environment and Climate Change Officer and for the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) in Geneva from 2012 to 2014 as Senior Programme Manager for Resource Mobilization and Development Partnerships. National from Chad, Dorsouma holds a Doctorate of Business Administration – a joint PhD degree between the Luxembourg’s Business Science Institute (BSI) and the School of Management of the Jean Moulin University Lyon3, France.
